Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tahapan adopsi inovasi media sosial sebagai media publikasi meliputi pengetahuan inovasi media sosial, keputusan Dinas Pariwisata dan Kebudayaan (Disparbud) Kabupaten Majalengka tentang adopsi media sosial dan bagaimana konfirmasi media sosial sebagai media publikasi dan penyebaran informasi Disparbud Kabupaten Majalengka. Menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif, penelitian menggambarkan keadaan objek atau subjek penelitian seperti seseorang, lembaga, masyarakat saat ini berdasarkan fakta apa adanya, memahami karakteristik dalam suatu deskripsi secara faktual dan akurat. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan jajaran Disparbud Kabupaten Majalengka familiar dengan media sosial sehingga proses persuasi inovasi media sosial kepada jajaran Disparbud relatif cepat. Keputusan adopsi media sosial, diimplementasikan penyebaran konten melalui Media sosial sesuai dengan payung hukum di Kominfo. Dikomfirmasikan, media sosial efektif dalam mempublikasikan informasi, jangkauan luas, biaya operasional lebih murah dan prosesnya lebih mudah. Antusiasme masyarakat dengan media sosial Disparbud Kabupaten Majalengka, berdampak peningkatan jumlah wisatawan.  


 


This study aims to determine the stages of adoption of social media innovation as a publication media including knowledge of social media innovation, the decision of the Majalengka Regency Tourism and Culture Office about the adoption of social media and how to confirm social media as a publication media and dissemination of information from the Majalengka Regency Disparbud. Using descriptive research methods, research describes the state of the object or research subject such as a person, institution, society today based on the facts as they are, understanding the characteristics in a description in a factual and accurate manner. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the ranks of Disparbud Majalengka Regency were familiar with social media so that the persuasion process of social media innovation to the ranks of Disparbud was relatively fast. The decision to adopt social media is implemented by distributing content through social media in accordance with the legal umbrella at Kominfo. It was confirmed, social media was effective in publishing information, had wide coverage, lower operational costs and an easier process. The enthusiasm of the community with social media for Disparbud Majalengka Regency has an impact on increasing the number of tourists.
