ABSTRAK


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana Strategi Media Cetak  Tribun Jabar di Era Revolusi Industri 4.0 agar tetap bertahan melawan gempuran media-media baru. Secara lebih rinci penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi yang dilakukan oleh Media Cetak Tribun Jabar dalam mempertahankan eksistensi media cetak. Penelitian ini didasari oleh Teori Strategi Miles and Snow. Dalam Konsep Teori tersebut digambarkan bahwa sebuah strategi yang dilakukan dalam perencanaan yang membuahkan hasil yang berbeda-beda dalam sebuah fenomena strategi. Metode yang digunakan ialah studi kualitatif yang berfokus pada pemaparan peristiwa dan tidak menjelaskan ataupun mencari hipotesis ataupun membuat prediksi dan penelitian ini digunakan pada pendekatan penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dan studi pustaka/dokumen. Hasil penelitian memberikan pemahaman mengenai strategi yang dilakukan media cetak Tribun Jabar dalam mempertahankan eksistensi dimulai dari perubahan awal yang terjadi sampai pada tahap-tahap yang dilakukan tribun jabar dalam mempertahankan eksistensi serta berbagai aspek mengenai keahlian para pekerja Tribun Jabar dan strategi media cetak dalam menyiasati konten di media baru serta peran para penggiat media dalam menyampaikan strategi kepada penulis terkait keahlian yang harus dimiliki, realiasi visi misi, kontribusi, gagasan serta harapan dan solusi atas terjadinya perubahan media baru di era Revolusi Industri 4.0 (Kata Kunci: Media Cetak, Strategi, Tribun Jabar, Revolusi Industri 4.0)


ABSTRACT


News media is increasingly actively competing with various other media platforms that occupy a level of speed and accuracy superior in delivering a news story. Media life today seems to be regulated by the development of information and technology, which is characterized by changes in people's habits in obtaining information. Thus, media, especially conventional, increasingly feel the impact with the changes that occur so that many supporting media in the delivery of media connected in other networks such as online media and social media. This is an act of publishing companies in achieving the existence of print media itself. With the phenomenon of social change and the cycle of changing times, the print media of Tribun Jabar carried out various strategies in achieving the point of success of its media companies in the Era of Industrial Revolution 4.0. This research aims to find out how the Print Media Strategy of Tribune Jabar in the Era of Industrial Revolution 4.0 in order to survive against the scourge of new media. In more detail, this research aims to find out the strategies carried out such as defenders, prospectors, analizers or results carried out by The Tribune Jabar Print Media in maintaining the existence of print media. This research is based on Miles and Snow Strategy Theory in the presentation of the underlying concept. This is a strategy carried out in planning that produces different results in a strategic phenomenon. The method used is qualitative studies that focus on event exposure and do not explain or look for hypotheses or make predictions and this research is used in qualitative research approaches. Research data collection techniques are carried out by observation, interview, and literature/document studies. The results of the research provide an understanding of the strategy carried out by the print media Tribun Jabar in maintaining existence starting from the initial changes that occurred to the stages carried out by the tribune jabar in maintaining existence and various aspects of the expertise of the workers of Tribun Jabar and the strategy of print media in getting around content in new media and the role of media activists in conveying strategies to the authors of strategies that must be carried out covering various aspects related to the change of new media in the era of Industrial Revolution 4.0 (Keywords: Newspapers, Strategy, Tribune Jabar, Industrial Revolution 4.0)
